Product Graphics

2007

Product graphics for the menswear line varied widely from sewn-in-garment woven graphics to attached-to-product belly-bands, printed tags, and brand talkers. Some of the clothing, such as overcoats, had a many as 40 graphic elements we had to create per garment.

One of the challenges during my position as Art Director at Henry Jacobson was to move all production to China, yet keep the quality of the graphics high and the consistency of the brand tight. We also changed the 'tone' of the brand, which required changes to the logomark itself as well as all of the graphics changed from a glossy look to a matt finish. There were hundreds of print and woven graphics to change.
